Charcoal Powder

Activated charcoal is a black powder usually obtained from wood, peat or coconut shells, that have been heated in extreme temperatures in order to increase the powders absorption capacity. This ingredient was traditionally used in medicine for stomach pumping to cure poisoning.

It is currently used in cosmetology for its detoxifying and purifying properties. Effectively unclogging pores and reducing excess oil, it is largely used in anti-acne treatments.
